SYNERGY

The opportunities to raise productivity of land, labor and water through SRI practices arise from synergistic relationships among these practices and their effects on roots, tillering and grain filling, so that a whole is produced that is more than the sum of its parts.

Factorial trial information showing net gains is presented in the summary report on factorial trials in Madagascar evaluating the separate and combined effect of system of rice intensification (SRI) practices.
