Progress and Activities

• In June 2004, Dr. Rena Perez (Cuba) made a presentation on SRI to a national organic agriculture conference as a guest of the conference organizers. Haiti is a country where SRI benefits could be most significant because of the great hunger and poverty as well as environmental constraints. We are hopeful that SRI will prove successful here.
