Progress and Activities

• In 2003, the Vice-Minister of Agriculture, Rafael Ortiz, who had previously worked with CIIFAD in a conservation and development program, learned about SRI from CIIFAD. He planned to introduce SRI trials in the Dominican Republic, but we have no current information on any results.
