CIIFAD sponsors a weekly international seminar series during the academic year and co-sponsors occasional seminars with various Cornell departments and centers on campus. During Fall 2007, CIIFAD, the Food Agriculture and Nutrition Group and the Program in International Nutrition are co-sponsoring the a six week seminar series on Linking Food, Agriculture and Nutrition for Improved Human and Environmental Health.

Ad hoc CIIFAD-sponsored seminars, conferences, workshops and other educational events are presented throughout the calendar year and are generally noted on the CIIFAD home page and the on-line Einaudi Center Events Calendar. CIIFAD-sponsored weekly seminar series

Every Wednesday, 12:20-1:10 PM, in 135 Emerson, visitors and speakers from the Cornell Community present development-related seminars for CIIFAD's Agroecological Perspectives for Sustainable Development Series. Now in its ninth year, the seminars run throughout the Fall and Spring semesters and is open to the public. Students can also receive one credit for attending the seminar series, which is cross-listed as IARD 696, NTRES 696, and CSS 696.2.
